MSG sits directly above Penn Station — one of the busiest transit hubs in North America, serving approximately 600,000 daily commuters. Multi-game days on Wednesday and Thursday feature 4 games each, meaning the arena empties and refills multiple times while Penn Station rush hour traffic surges around it. The 4:30-7:00 PM transition between afternoon and evening sessions on Thursday is particularly challenging — three overlapping waves of traffic in the same 6-block radius.
