Quick Tips

Text your chauffeur when you have your bags

Your chauffeur monitors your flight and stages in the cell phone lot. When you text “I have my bags,” they move to the curbside FHV zone—typically arriving within 2–3 minutes.

Pre-booked = no rideshare shuttle

At Terminals 4, 5, and 7, rideshare passengers must take a shuttle between 12PM and 2AM. Pre-booked car service is exempt and picks up curbside. This saves 10–20 minutes.

Verify your terminal before travel (2026)

With the New Terminal One Phase A opening June 2026 and Terminal 6 opening late 2026, airlines are transitioning between terminals. Always check at jfkairport.com.

Meet & Greet for $25

Add Meet & Greet to your booking and your chauffeur meets you inside the terminal with a name sign. Popular for international arrivals, families, and VIP travelers.

Free wait time included

We provide 60 minutes of complimentary wait time for international arrivals and 45 minutes for domestic. No penalty if customs takes longer than expected.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does FHV mean at JFK?

FHV stands for For-Hire Vehicle. At JFK, FHV pickup zones are designated curbside areas where pre-booked car services, black cars, and limousines pick up passengers. Each terminal has its own FHV zone layout.

Can my chauffeur wait inside the terminal?

With Meet & Greet ($25), yes. Your chauffeur waits near baggage claim or the customs exit with a name sign. Without Meet & Greet, your chauffeur waits at the curbside FHV zone and texts you the exact location.

What if I can’t find my chauffeur at the pickup zone?

Call or text your chauffeur directly. The number is in your booking confirmation. They can describe their exact position relative to the terminal exit, pillar numbers, or zone markers. Our dispatch team is also available 24/7.

How do pickup zones work at JFK during construction?

Terminal 1 FHV zones may shift temporarily during NTO construction. Our dispatch monitors PANYNJ announcements daily and sends chauffeurs to the correct location. Your chauffeur texts the current zone when you land.

Which terminal should I check for my airline?

Check jfkairport.com or your airline’s website for current terminal assignments. With terminals transitioning in 2026, assignments may change. Our booking system verifies your terminal at the time of reservation.

Is there a cell phone lot at JFK for my chauffeur?

Yes. JFK has a free cell phone waiting lot near the airport where chauffeurs stage until you text that you have your bags. This keeps the FHV zone clear and ensures your chauffeur arrives curbside within minutes of your signal.

Do I need to walk far to reach the FHV zone?

No. At most terminals, the FHV zone is within 50–100 yards of the baggage claim exit. At Terminal 4, you walk past the taxi stand (inner lane) to the outer lane. At Terminal 5, the numbered spots are along the same curbside.

Can I book a car service for JFK if my flight arrives late at night?

Yes. We operate 24/7 with no surge pricing. Late-night and red-eye arrivals are common. Your chauffeur monitors your flight and is staged regardless of the hour. Between 2AM and 12PM, rideshare also picks up curbside at all terminals.

Know your zone. Book your car.

Curbside pickup at every JFK terminal. No shuttle, no guesswork, no surge pricing.
