Choose the $25 meet-and-greet add-on for an inside-terminal meeting with your chauffeur, a name sign and luggage help. A dedicated greeter is available for $150. Yes, applicable bridge tolls are included in the price shown for your addresses.

The route determines which crossing the ride uses. Port Authority tolls on the Goethals and Outerbridge crossings are collected when entering New York, so a ride toward New Jersey and the return into Staten Island can have different toll directions. Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge tolls are collected in both directions.

The free Staten Island Ferry takes about 25 minutes between St. George and Whitehall; a private car takes you directly to the address you book.

The ferry's 25-minute figure describes the crossing on the water. Add travel to St. George, the wait for the next departure and the trip from Whitehall to your final address when comparing the full trip. NYC DOT publishes the ferry schedule, and NYC311 lists regular departures every 30 minutes outside weekday rush periods, with more frequent service at rush hours. Check the live schedule before leaving.

A car provides a direct ride between the addresses you enter. The right choice depends on both locations, your schedule, luggage and how close you are to St. George or Whitehall. The ferry can suit a St. George to Lower Manhattan trip; a car can simplify travel from another Staten Island neighborhood or to a Manhattan address away from Whitehall.

A ferry trip and a car ride use separate meeting arrangements. The ferry is a passenger service between St. George and Whitehall, and it does not carry cars. If you need a car at the terminal, specify whether you need pickup or drop-off and enter the meeting point in your request. The Staten Island Ferry runs year-round. Its schedule changes by day and time, so check the live NYC DOT schedule before walking to the terminal. For a door-to-door ride, book your street address as the pickup instead of the ferry terminal.
