Marathon Weekend Overview
The 2026 TCS NYC Marathon took place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, with timed restrictions across the course, and NYRR lists Sunday, November 7, 2027 for the next race. Use the table above for the published 2026 bridge and street windows as a reference, then plan each ride around the runner's assigned instructions and the current NYRR course. True North VIP serves runners, spectators, and event coordinators at accessible meeting points.
The Route
The NYRR course passes through all five boroughs and includes a Bronx routing change at East 141st Street. Check the current NYRR course guide before choosing a viewing point; earlier maps may not show the change. The race finishes in Central Park, where official exits and pedestrian areas shape pickup planning.
Participant Scale
The City lists closure windows corridor by corridor. Choose accessible addresses on each side of the course, use the published times to plan crossings, and leave room to walk between viewing points.
50th Anniversary
The 50th anniversary marks the five-borough course introduced in 1976, not the first New York City Marathon. Use this year's course map for the 2026 route, and check the City and NYRR notices when next year's closure schedule is published.
Race Day Transportation Logistics
Plan race-day trips around your vehicle meeting address, course crossing, and NYRR instructions. True North VIP drives runners, spectators, and event coordinators to accessible drop-off or pickup points. Share exact addresses and timing when requesting a ride, and use the published closure schedule to plan each crossing.
Pre-Race Coordination
For the 2026 race, NYRR directed private cars to McClean Avenue and Ocean Avenue, followed by an approximately half-mile walk to the start villages. The Verrazzano closed to private transport at 7 a.m., and no parking was available at the start. Match your departure to your assigned wave and runner transport instructions.
In 2026, the first mass participation wave started at 9:10 a.m., followed by waves at 9:45, 10:20, 10:55, and 11:30 a.m. NYRR offered assigned bus and ferry transportation, and the ferry option included a Staten Island bus connection. For the next race on Sunday, November 7, 2027, follow the runner's transport assignment and review NYRR's transportation to the start before choosing a car drop-off.
Spectator Drop-offs
For NYC Marathon spectator transportation, choose viewing points from the current course map, then set each car drop-off on an accessible street beyond the course. Use complete street addresses, check the closure table before crossing the route, and plan walking between viewing points. Set the meeting sequence before race morning.
Share the route and meeting details with everyone in your party before leaving. A separate accessible address for each car leg makes it easier to walk between viewing points and regroup.
Post-Race Pickups
In 2026, runners exited Central Park at West 77th Street, then left the runners-only area by West 76th, West 75th, or West 74th Street, or continued to Family Reunion. It ran on West 69th through West 71st Streets from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with entry screening on Columbus Avenue.
Family Reunion is a pedestrian zone. Set your vehicle meeting address outside it and agree on a backup location before the race because NYRR warns cellular congestion near the finish can affect communication. Follow the official runner exit and walk to the agreed address.
Street Closure Navigation
The table separates the Verrazzano upper and lower level windows and the Queensboro lower-level closure from its truck restriction. The Pulaski start time differs between the City's borough tables, and Central Park West has overlapping rows. Check the official 2026 street closure notice for the published windows; NYPD controls access.

PANYNJ tolls are collected only on crossings into New York. The Manhattan Congestion Relief Zone covers streets at and below 60th Street; its charge is $0.75 per trip for black cars and taxis and $1.50 for app-based rides. True North VIP includes those charges, applicable PANYNJ tolls and the New York Black Car Fund assessment in its all-in price.

How It Works
Start with the pickup and destination addresses, pickup time, passenger and bag counts, and flight details for airport trips. Request online any time or call; the phone is answered 24/7. Choose a vehicle that fits your party and share race-day timing when arranging the ride.
Book Your Rides
Request airport, start-area, spectator, or post-race transportation through online booking. Add your flight number for an airport arrival. Airport arrivals have a 60-minute wait time after a domestic landing and a 90-minute wait time after an international landing, in every vehicle class; every regular pickup has a 15-minute grace period.
Without meet and greet, your chauffeur meets you at the airport-assigned arrivals curb. At JFK Terminals 5 and 7, take the free AirTrain to Howard Beach; your chauffeur meets you at the car service lot there. At LaGuardia, car service pickups for Terminal B are on Level 2 of the Terminal B parking garage, and Terminal C pickups are in the arrivals inner lane. Terminal A has had no airline flights since May 2026. At Newark Terminal C, your chauffeur meets you at the arrivals curb or in the Terminal C Garage, Level 3. Enter passenger and bag counts when requesting a vehicle.
Review Your Ride Details
For an airport arrival, request the $25 meet and greet. Your chauffeur meets you inside the terminal with a name sign and helps with luggage. A dedicated greeter is $150.
Race Day Service Plan
Set a complete street address for every vehicle stop, pair it with the walking route to your viewing point, and send the same plan to each passenger before race morning. For multi-stop groups, list the sequence and next meeting address in one shared message.
Celebrate Your Achievement
Use the ride from your agreed finish-side meeting address to your hotel, home, or airport. Set the onward destination when requesting the trip so your chauffeur has the complete ride details.
