Where will my chauffeur meet me at JFK?
The meeting point at JFK depends on your terminal. The chauffeur tracks your flight, so the pickup moves with the landing time. - Add your airline and flight number when you book. The chauffeur tracks the flight from takeoff.
- After landing, collect your bags and call 888-887-0324 or the chauffeur number in your booking.
- At Terminals 1, 4 and 8, walk out to the arrivals curb. At Terminals 5 and 7, take the free AirTrain to the Howard Beach lot, where the car meets you.
- With meet and greet ($25), the chauffeur waits inside the terminal with a name sign and walks you to the car.

How long is the drive from JFK to the Financial District?
Without traffic, JFK to the Financial District is about 35 to 36 minutes and 18 to 19.5 miles, by routing estimates for the two trips below. Downtown is the longest Manhattan run from JFK, and the Belt Parkway, the BQE and the bridge approaches are slow at rush hour. Plan for more on weekday afternoons.
| Trip | Distance | Drive time without traffic |
|---|---|---|
| Terminal 4 to the New York Stock Exchange | 18.1 mi | about 36 min (estimate) |
| Terminal 8 to Brookfield Place | 19.3 mi | about 35 min (estimate) |
Drive times are estimates (OSRM free-flow routing with no traffic, checked Oct 30, 2026). Traffic varies, and rush hour, weather, tunnel delays and airport construction add time.
Which route does the chauffeur take, and what tolls apply?
Two routes compete for downtown. The Belt Parkway runs along the south Brooklyn shore to the Gowanus and the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel, which comes out by Battery Park. The other runs up the Van Wyck and across Queens and Brooklyn to the Williamsburg Bridge, then down to the World Trade Center. The driver picks by traffic.
| Road or crossing | What it does on this trip | Toll |
|---|---|---|
| Belt Parkway | South Brooklyn shore toward the Gowanus | No toll |
| Hugh L. Carey Tunnel | Under the East River to Battery Park | MTA toll in both directions |
| Van Wyck and the expressways | North and west through Queens | No toll |
| Williamsburg Bridge | Into the Lower East Side, then downtown | No toll |
The MTA tolls the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel in both directions (MTA), while the Williamsburg Bridge is free. All of Lower Manhattan is in the MTA Congestion Relief Zone, where black car trips carry a $0.75 charge per trip (MTA). Any of these is in your price.
Car service, train or taxi from JFK to downtown?
Transit to Lower Manhattan starts with the AirTrain, which charges its own fare. From Howard Beach, the A train runs into Lower Manhattan, and from Jamaica, the E train reaches the World Trade Center, each for a regular subway fare. It is a long ride with bags. |---|---|---|---|
| Private car service | Yes, terminal to your door | None | Bags, families, offices |
| AirTrain and A train | No | AirTrain, then subway | Light luggage near Fulton Street |

Where will the chauffeur drop me in the Financial District?
Downtown streets are narrow, and some are closed to cars. The blocks around the New York Stock Exchange on Wall and Broad Streets have security barriers, so the chauffeur stops at the nearest open corner. Give the building name and entrance, and the car goes to the closest legal stop to your door.
| Downtown drop-off | Tip |
|---|---|
| New York Stock Exchange and Wall Street | Name the building; the car stops at an open corner near the security zone |
| World Trade Center and Brookfield Place | Name the tower or the Vesey Street side |
| Battery Park City | Give the building and the street, such as South End Avenue |
| Tribeca and SoHo lofts | Add the cross street; many streets are one-way |
How does waiting time work?
Waiting time depends on the pickup. Home, hotel and office pickups have a 15-minute grace period, after which waiting time applies. Airport arrivals have a 60-minute wait time after a domestic landing and a 90-minute wait time after an international landing, counted from when the flight lands, and every airport pickup includes flight tracking, so an early or late flight moves your pickup with it.
| Pickup type | Grace period or wait time |
|---|---|
| Regular pickup (home, hotel, office) | 15 minutes |
| Domestic flight arrival | 60 minutes after landing |
| International flight arrival | 90 minutes after landing |
| Flight tracking | Included on airport pickups |
See the wait time policy for the full terms, and add meet and greet if you want the chauffeur inside the terminal.
Match the vehicle to passengers and luggage.
Match the vehicle to your group and bags. An Executive Sedan seats 2 and a Luxury Sedan seats 3, for light luggage or a business trip. Both SUV classes seat 6 and suit families or teams with suitcases. For a group arriving on the same flight, the Jet Sprinter seats 10 and the Executive Sprinter seats 13.
| Vehicle class | Passengers | Child seats | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Executive Sedan | Up to 2 | Not available | One or two riders with light luggage |
| Luxury Sedan | Up to 3 | Not available | Clients and special nights for up to three |

| Executive Sprinter | Up to 13 | Available | Larger groups, quoted on request |

Are child seats available?
Yes. We stock all kinds of child seats: infant, convertible and booster. Seats are $25 each and go in SUVs and Sprinters only, not sedans. In an Executive SUV or Luxury SUV you can add a maximum of 2 child seats per direction; for more seats, talk to us about a Sprinter before you book.

Read the child seat policy and our family car service page.
Can I book a multi-leg trip?
Yes. A multi-leg trip puts several stops or legs on one booking, such as a stop at a Financial District office, then a hotel in Tribeca. Add each stop at /book and the all-in price covers the whole trip. If the car should wait at a stop, hourly service at $120 per hour, 3-hour minimum, may fit better.
