Which airlines are listed at JFK Terminal 7?
The dedicated Terminal 7 page and airport-wide directory show different carrier rosters. Compare the rows below and check your operating flight's terminal with your airline before leaving for JFK. The table keeps the terminal-specific list separate from the airport-wide listing.
| JFK source | Airlines shown for Terminal 7 |
|---|---|
| Dedicated Terminal 7 page, checked Oct 2026 | ANA, Aer Lingus, Condor, Icelandair, Kuwait Airways, Norse Atlantic Airways |
| Airport-wide airline directory, checked Oct 2026 | Also lists Ethiopian and HiSky at Terminal 7 |
A separate general Terminal 7 page has older assignments; check your operating flight with your airline. Compare the airport's Terminal 7 airline page with its airport-wide airline directory for both published lists.
Where does each pickup happen at JFK Terminal 7?
JFK assigns different pickup points to arriving car-service and terminal-frontage trips. Arriving prearranged cars follow the Howard Beach advisory, while taxis use Level 1 inside the garage and passenger frontage pickup or drop-off follows the garage notice. Follow the airport's signs for your specific trip.
| Trip type | Terminal 7 instruction |
|---|---|
| Arriving prearranged car service or other FHV | Take the AirTrain to the Howard Beach pickup lot under the airport's ongoing T5/T7 advisory. |
| Arriving ride-app trip | Follow the Howard Beach direction in the airport advisory; accessible ride-app trips have a separate terminal pickup exception. |
| Taxi | Go to the taxi stand on Level 1 of the Terminal 7 garage. |
| Passenger pickup or drop-off at the terminal frontage | Follow the garage frontage notice and current airport directions for the pickup or drop-off area inside the garage. |
The airport's May 2, 2025 car-service advisory includes prearranged car-service and for-hire vehicle arrivals; its accessible pickup exception applies to ride-app trips. For more terminal-by-terminal steps, use our JFK pickup guide. Check current JFK service notices before you travel, since AirTrain conditions can affect the transfer.

How do arriving car-service passengers reach Howard Beach?
After you collect your bags at Terminal 7, follow AirTrain signs to the Howard Beach station. Ride to Howard Beach, then follow airport directions to the car-service pickup lot and meet your chauffeur there. The ongoing JFK advisory sends Terminal 5 and Terminal 7 car-service and for-hire vehicle arrivals to this lot.
Our $25 meet-and-greet service adds an inside-terminal greeting, a name sign and luggage help. For a Terminal 7 arrival, you still take the AirTrain to Howard Beach to meet the vehicle. A dedicated greeter costs $150.
What does the Terminal 7 garage notice change?
From Sep 22, 2026, passenger pickup and drop-off moved inside the Terminal 7 garage, and the taxi stand is on Level 1. The airport directs overheight vehicles to a designated area outside the garage and keeps trucks off Terminal 7 arrivals and departures roadways. Arriving car-service passengers follow the Howard Beach instruction.
For a Terminal 7 departure drop-off, follow the garage frontage signs and the airport's current directions. Taxi passengers use the Level 1 stand. Arriving prearranged car-service passengers follow the Howard Beach route instead. Match the airport instruction to your trip direction and pickup mode.
What can travelers find inside Terminal 7?
The JFK Terminal 7 page names the Aer Lingus Lounge and Horizons T7 Lounge and gives a 1 to 5 minute gate-walking range. That range covers the walk to gates inside the terminal, not the transfer to AirTrain or Howard Beach. Follow terminal signs between baggage claim, the AirTrain and your gate.
For details about other JFK terminals, see our guides to JFK Terminal 4 and JFK Terminal 8.
Is JFK Terminal 7 closing?
The airport has not published exact dates for Terminal 7's closure or demolition, or for Terminal 6's opening. The Terminal 6 project replaces Terminal 7 in phases, with its first phase scheduled for 2026. Read our JFK Terminal 6 guide for the replacement project's published timing.
