The George Washington Bridge (282,000 vehicles/day) connects to Bergen County and northern NJ via I-80/I-95. The Lincoln Tunnel (120,000 vehicles/day, three tubes) serves Midtown-to-Hudson County and the Meadowlands. The Holland Tunnel (85,000 vehicles/day) connects Lower Manhattan to Jersey City and EWR. The Merritt Parkway (38 miles, Greenwich to Milford) bans all commercial vehicles -- including Sprinter vans. The Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95, 180,000+ vehicles/day) is the primary bottleneck connecting NJ to Connecticut via the GWB. Port Authority crossings (GWB, Lincoln, Holland) charge $16.00 E-ZPass peak / $12.75 off-peak (eastbound only). MTA crossings (Throgs Neck, Whitestone, RFK Bridge) are $7.50 E-ZPass. The Mario Cuomo Bridge (Westchester to Rockland) is $5.35 E-ZPass. All toll costs are factored into your quote -- the NJ surcharge ($20) covers Hudson River crossing tolls for NJ trips.
