Where will my chauffeur meet me at Newark Airport?

At Newark Terminal C, your chauffeur meets you at the arrivals curb or in the Terminal C Garage, Level 3. Meet and greet puts the chauffeur inside the terminal with a name sign.
- Add your airline and flight number when you book. The chauffeur tracks the flight from takeoff.
- After landing, collect your bags at Terminal A, B or C and call 888-887-0324 or the chauffeur number in your booking.
- At Terminal A or B, walk to the arrivals curb. At Newark Terminal C, your chauffeur meets you at the arrivals curb or in the Terminal C Garage, Level 3.

How long is the drive from Newark Airport to Midtown?
Without traffic, Newark Airport to Midtown is about 30 to 32 minutes and 15.5 to 17 miles, by routing estimates for the three trips below. The Lincoln Tunnel lands you at West 39th to 42nd Street, a few blocks from Times Square. Rush hours, show nights and events at Madison Square Garden add time, so plan for more.
| Trip | Distance | Drive time without traffic |
|---|---|---|
| Terminal B to Madison Square Garden | 16.0 mi | about 31 min (estimate) |
| Terminal A to Rockefeller Center | 16.8 mi | about 32 min (estimate) |
| Terminal C to the Marriott Marquis, Times Square | 15.7 mi | about 30 min (estimate) |
Drive times are estimates (OSRM free-flow routing with no traffic, checked Oct 30, 2026). Traffic varies, and rush hour, weather, tunnel delays and airport construction add time.
Which route does the chauffeur take, and what tolls apply?
Midtown trips from Newark almost always use the Lincoln Tunnel. The chauffeur takes US 1 and 9 north from the airport, then Route 495 through Weehawken to the tunnel, which comes out in the West 30s and 40s near Port Authority. From there it is a few blocks across town to your hotel or office.
| Road or crossing | What it does on this trip | Toll |
|---|---|---|
| US 1 and 9 | Main road north from the airport | No toll |
| Route 495 | Approach to the Lincoln Tunnel through Weehawken | No toll |
| Lincoln Tunnel | Crosses the Hudson to Midtown West | Toll entering New York |
| Crosstown streets in the 40s and 50s | Last blocks to Times Square, Rockefeller Center or Madison Square Garden | No toll |
The Port Authority collects the Lincoln Tunnel toll only from drivers entering New York (panynj.gov), and it is already in your price. All of Midtown below 60th Street is in the MTA Congestion Relief Zone, where black car trips carry a $0.75 charge per trip (MTA). That is in the price too.

A car takes you from your terminal pickup point to your door.

Where will the chauffeur drop me in Times Square and Midtown?
Times Square is busy at the curb, so the drop-off point matters. Broadway through Times Square has pedestrian plazas, so cars stop on the side streets or at hotel entrances. Give the hotel name, or the building and its entrance, and the chauffeur takes you to the closest legal stop to the door you want.
| Midtown drop-off | Tip |
|---|---|
| Times Square hotels such as the Marriott Marquis | Give the hotel name; the car uses the hotel entrance or the nearest side street |
| Rockefeller Center | Name the building or the street side, such as 30 Rockefeller Plaza or Sixth Avenue |
| Madison Square Garden and Penn Station | Say Seventh or Eighth Avenue; event nights close lanes near the Garden |
| Offices in the 40s and 50s | Add the lobby entrance and cross street in the notes |
Is Newark Penn Station the same as Penn Station in Manhattan?
No, and the mix-up is common. Newark Penn Station is in downtown Newark, New Jersey, a short train ride from the airport. Penn Station in Manhattan sits under Madison Square Garden on Seventh and Eighth Avenues. If you are going to Manhattan, enter the Manhattan address, and we price the ride to the right station.
How does waiting time work?
Waiting time depends on the pickup. Home, hotel and office pickups have a 15-minute grace period, after which waiting time applies. Airport arrivals have a 60-minute wait time after a domestic landing and a 90-minute wait time after an international landing, counted from when the flight lands, and every airport pickup includes flight tracking, so an early or late flight moves your pickup with it.
| Pickup type | Grace period or wait time |
|---|---|
| Regular pickup (home, hotel, office) | 15 minutes |
| Domestic flight arrival | 60 minutes after landing |
| International flight arrival | 90 minutes after landing |
| Flight tracking | Included on airport pickups |
See the wait time policy for the full terms, and add meet and greet if you want the chauffeur inside the terminal.

Can I book a multi-leg trip?
Yes. A multi-leg trip puts several stops or legs on one booking, such as a hotel check-in near Times Square, then a meeting at Rockefeller Center. Add each stop at /book and the all-in price covers the whole trip. If the car should wait at a stop, hourly service at $120 per hour, 3-hour minimum, may fit better.
