JFK ↔ EWR Car Service
The longest inter-airport transfer in the metro area: 40–50 miles across Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and New Jersey. Private car service between JFK and Newark Liberty (EWR)—with real-time routing through the Belt Parkway, Verrazzano, and Goethals Bridge corridor.
A Cross-Borough, Cross-State Ground Connection
JFK sits in southeastern Queens. Newark Liberty is across the Hudson in New Jersey. Between them: the Belt Parkway through Brooklyn, the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge to Staten Island, the Goethals Bridge into Elizabeth, and then the NJ Turnpike approach to EWR. That is three boroughs, two bridges, one island, and a state line—all in a single airport transfer.
No public transit connects JFK and EWR directly. The AirTrain at each airport only moves within the airport complex. To do this by transit, you would need AirTrain to Jamaica, LIRR or subway into Manhattan, NJ Transit to Newark, then AirTrain to your EWR terminal—a 2.5+ hour journey with luggage transfers at every step. A private inter-airport transfer handles the entire route door-to-door, with flight tracking so the pickup adjusts to your actual landing time.
The critical question for same-day connections: how much time do you actually have?Share both flight numbers at booking. We calculate whether your connection is comfortable, tight, or unrealistic—and plan accordingly.
Three Routes, One Decision
Southern Route via Staten Island
Belt Parkway to Verrazzano Bridge, across Staten Island, over the Goethals Bridge to NJ Turnpike and into EWR. This is the default route—it avoids Manhattan entirely but depends on two bridge crossings and Staten Island Expressway conditions.
Manhattan Cut-Through
Van Wyck to BQE, through the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel into Lower Manhattan, then Holland Tunnel to NJ. Longer in distance but sometimes faster when the Verrazzano or Goethals is backed up. Works best outside Manhattan rush hour.
Real-Time Decision
Your chauffeur monitors live traffic across all three corridors and commits to the fastest option at departure. This is not a route you can plan the night before—conditions shift by the hour across these bridges and tunnels.
JFK: Six Terminals, Six Pickup Plans
JFK is not one airport—it is a sprawling complex of six active terminals, each with its own roadway, curbside pickup rules, and for-hire vehicle staging area. Terminal 1 handles many European carriers. Terminal 4 is the international mega-terminal (Delta, KLM, Virgin). Terminal 5 is JetBlue. Terminal 8 is American Airlines. Where you land determines your entire pickup sequence.
Port Authority construction advisories can temporarily relocate pickup areas—especially at Terminals 5 and 7 in recent years. Your chauffeur checks the latest advisory for your terminal and texts you precise walking directions after you clear baggage claim. If your terminal has an off-site pickup requirement, the chauffeur coordinates timing so you are not waiting outdoors.
Newark’s New Terminal A + 2026 AirTrain Advisory
Newark’s new Terminal A opened in 2023, replacing the outdated original building. The terminal itself is modern, but road access and pickup staging are still evolving as surrounding infrastructure catches up. Terminal B handles United domestic. Terminal C is the United international hub. Each terminal has a different pickup flow, and your chauffeur confirms the right staging area for your specific terminal and date.
NJ TRANSIT advisory: Beginning January 15, 2026, AirTrain service at Newark Airport Station is replaced by shuttle buses from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM on most weekdays as part of a multi-year replacement, supporting the AirTrain Newark Replacement Program.
Private car drop-offs and pickups are unaffected. However, if your group is coordinating rail connections at Newark Airport Station, factor in the shuttle bus transfer time.
How It Works
Share Both Flights
Book online with your arriving JFK flight details and departing EWR flight time. We assess whether your connection window is comfortable or tight and plan the pickup timing accordingly.
Flight Tracking Activates
Your JFK arrival is monitored from takeoff. If your inbound flight runs 30 minutes late, the EWR-bound pickup shifts automatically. No phone calls needed.
JFK Terminal Pickup
Your chauffeur stages at the correct pickup area for your specific JFK terminal, accounting for any Port Authority advisories. Walking directions are texted to you after landing.
Cross-Region Drive
Belt Parkway to Verrazzano and Goethals, or through Manhattan via BQE and Holland Tunnel. Your chauffeur commits to the fastest corridor in real time, then delivers you to your EWR terminal curbside.

Why This Transfer Needs a Reservation
Bridge & Tunnel Expertise
Your chauffeur knows the Verrazzano, Goethals, Brooklyn-Battery, and Holland Tunnel options cold. The routing decision happens in real time based on live bridge/tunnel conditions.
Connection Assessment
We calculate whether your JFK-EWR connection is realistic before you book. If the window is too tight, we tell you. If it works, we build the buffer plan around your departing flight.
No Public Transit Option
There is no direct train, bus, or AirTrain between JFK and EWR. A private car is the only practical way to make this transfer without 3+ hours and multiple connections.
All Tolls Included
This route crosses 2–3 toll points depending on the corridor (bridges plus tunnels). Every toll is included in your quoted fare. No surprises at drop-off.
