Hudson Yards is Manhattan's largest private real estate development, built over the MTA's West Side rail yards between 30th and 34th Streets, 10th Avenue and the Hudson River. The 28-acre site includes seven office towers, over 100 shops and restaurants, The Vessel sculpture (reopened October 2024 with safety netting, top level permanently closed), Edge observation deck at 1,131 feet, and the Equinox Hotel.
The district is anchored by the 7 train's 34th Street-Hudson Yards station — the first major subway extension in Manhattan since the 1980s — and sits directly adjacent to the Javits Center (269 yards away) and the High Line's northern terminus at 34th Street. The towers house BlackRock's global headquarters at 50 Hudson Yards, L'Oréal, Coach (Tapestry), BCG at 10 Hudson Yards, Warner Bros Discovery and KKR at 30 Hudson Yards, and Apple's 77,000-square-foot flagship at 55 Hudson Yards.
Three primary ride intents converge here: airport transfers with direct Lincoln Tunnel access for Newark, JFK, and LGA; corporate pickups for executives at BlackRock, Warner Bros Discovery, and other Hudson Yards tenants; and point-to-point transfers for Edge visitors, Mercado Little Spain diners, Equinox Hotel guests, and Javits Center attendees.
True North VIP provides professional car service at every Hudson Yards building: 10 HY at 10th Avenue and 30th Street, 20 HY on Hudson Boulevard, 30 HY at 10th and 33rd (Edge), 35 HY on 33rd Street (Equinox Hotel), 50 HY at 34th and 10th (BlackRock), and 55 HY at 34th and 11th (Apple) — with chauffeurs who know every loading zone and Midtown West traffic pattern.
